Gratitude to Jonotar Dol

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the newly formed political party "Jonotar Dol," initiated by dedicated and distinguished retired officers of the Bangladesh Army, for stepping forward in the service of the people of Gaza. After much consideration and evaluation, they chose the Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation (ASH Foundation) to implement humanitarian projects in Gaza—an honor for which we are truly grateful.

Activity: Distribution of 3,500 loaves of bread

Can you imagine—right now, the price of just one piece of bread in Gaza is nearly $1, which is about ৳125 in Bangladeshi currency!

Even amidst the horrors of war and unbearable conditions, humanitarian efforts in Gaza continue with utmost effort—Alhamdulillah!

In the land of Khan Yunis, where the love for Masjid Al-Aqsa keeps people rooted to the ground, the ASH Foundation, funded by Jonotar Dol, completed a food distribution program of 3,500 loaves of bread on Friday, July 4th. Alhamdulillah!

From various areas of Gaza, we are constantly receiving thousands of requests:
"Just a bit of food, even one piece of bread, and a little water, please!"

Our Gaza team is already working on the next emergency food program. InshaAllah, we are moving swiftly again to distribute more food soon.

As long as supplies are available in local markets—even at skyrocketing prices—ASH Foundation will continue:

• emergency food distribution,

• water supply,

• tent installations, and

• solar electricity projects.

All of this is only possible through your heartfelt support, InshaAllah!

Indeed, Allah is the best helper.

Since October 2023, the ASH Foundation (Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation) has been the first Bangladeshi organization to carry out continuous humanitarian initiatives in Gaza’s Khan Yunis and Al-Mawasi camps, including:

• Iftar and Suhoor distributions

• Emergency water supply

• Food distribution

• Tent construction

• Toilet installation

• Mosque construction

• Solar electricity setup

• Qurbani programs

• Winter clothing distribution
