Food Distribution in Feni

Due to the devastating floods in the Feni district, many people in the Fulgazi and Parshuram upazilas have been severely affected.

In this situation, on July 11, the Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation is delivering a gift of love!

Emergency dry food has been distributed among nearly 250 stranded residents of Pashchim Ghoniyamura village in Fulgazi upazila.

On the same day, under the foundation’s arrangement, cooked lunch and dinner were provided for 150 homeless men and women taking shelter at Uttar Shaldhar Government Primary School, one of the main shelters in Parshuram upazila.

In addition, many affected families were given instant cash assistance after an on-the-ground assessment, enabling them to purchase essential items they urgently needed.

The foundation’s special response team also conducted field visits to the most severely affected areas where embankments have collapsed and the situation remains critical.
