Gaza is now witnessing one of the most horrifying chapters in the history of humanity.
The United Nations-declared “Famine Phase 5 —the most catastrophic level—has become a harsh reality there. An entire nation is on the brink of extinction.
In just two days, 71 children have died from the agony of hunger. Today, 80 innocent people were martyred in a shooting at a relief center.
Their only ‘crime’ was standing in line—weak, starving, exhausted—hoping to receive a piece of bread. Meanwhile, airstrikes, bombings, and the roar of tanks continue relentlessly. Gaza has become a valley of death and silence. But the most terrifying truth is this: the world remains silent. No protests. No statements. No outrage.
Does the Muslim world even exist anymore? It seems to be asleep—or has learned to sleep through suffering. No one seems to remember that one day, we will be held accountable before Allah. For those of us reading this from afar, sleep escapes us. Our hearts feel unbearably heavy, even if we try not to. We are overcome with rage, sorrow, and shame as we witness this so-called civilization.
The people you see in these images—their only ‘crime’ was hunger. They stood in line for a piece of bread… and paid with their lives.
O Allah, are You not seeing this injustice? We are helpless… But we can cry to You, O our Lord.
