One of the dreams of his life suddenly came true for Rais Uddin Chacha, who had been devastated after losing his beloved domesticated cow due to fake money. Right after performing the sacred Umrah, he landed at Dhaka Airport and immediately called. With utmost love and care, he brought dates, Zamzam water, and a prayer mat as gifts—one for me and one for actress Apu Biswas. He was even willing to wait at Dhaka Airport for a long time just to hand these gifts to us.
About a week ago, it was midnight—12 o’clock—when this happened. My conscience could not allow me to make a guest of Allah’s house wait, so I extended my utmost respect for his international stature. I told him, “You have returned from the holy house, and your entire family is eagerly waiting for you. Please go to Natore. Insha’Allah, we will humbly accept your sincere gifts.”
Time is tight and busy, yet he was even willing to come back to Dhaka again.
To give simple and humble Rais Uddin a little surprise, I personally planned a visit to Natore. Apu Biswas, who affectionately calls me her brother and has shown great respect to Rais Uddin, also wanted to be part of the surprise.
Finally, at Rais Uddin’s house in Pakuria village, Natore… the whole area felt like it was celebrating Eid! SubhanAllah!
Meanwhile, Rais Uddin, living in a modest clay house, was more concerned about his contribution to the newly built mosque than about his own home. He had dedicated a portion of his own space for it! The mosque is yet to be completed—the flooring and tiles are still pending, which worries him greatly.
He has allocated a budget of 600,000 Taka for the mosque tiles. We have visited and seen everything, and a detailed video about this will be coming very soon!
