A pot of lentils in Gaza

In war-torn and devastated Gaza, with the funding of Professor Dr. Abu Bakar Muhammad Zakaria and under the management of ASH Foundation, 10 pots of cooked lentils were prepared. Surprised? Yes, just lentils! But to them, this means so much.

With this simple meal, at least for one time, hunger was eased for nearly 1,600 starving and oppressed people in Khan Yunis, Ala Mayoushi, Gaza.
Date: 17th August 2025. Some had tears in their eyes, while others expressed deep gratitude.

From different corners of Gaza, countless requests and desperate cries are coming: “Please give us some food, at least a piece of bread, a little water!”

The local representatives of ASH Foundation in Gaza have again been instructed to implement the next food and emergency aid programs as quickly as possible. As long as anything can be found in the markets, no matter how high the prices may be, ASH Foundation will continue its utmost efforts to carry out various urgent humanitarian programs, Insha’Allah.
