In times of unbearable hardship, standing beside the oppressed is not just charity, it is a moral responsibility.
As part of its ongoing humanitarian support for the oppressed and persecuted people of Gaza, Alhaj Shamsul Haque Foundation (ASH Foundation) recently carried its compassion beyond borders to Egypt and Gaza. From January 19 (Monday) to January 28 (Wednesday), the President of the foundation, Engineer Muhammad Nasir Uddin, along with fellow members, remained physically present in Egypt and Gaza to directly support the distressed families enduring unimaginable suffering. During this meaningful visit, the foundation’s honorable advisors, Major General (Retd.) Mahbubul Alam and Brigadier General (Retd.) A. K. M. Shafiul Mowla, also stood in solidarity on the ground.
Love took tangible form through action. Under the management of ASH Foundation and with some financial support from Jantor Dal, a 12-ton food consignment titled “Gift of Love” was arranged for one thousand families in Gaza, a lifeline of hope delivered with care.
Compassion did not stop there. With generous funding from Sheikh Abu Bakr Muhammad Zakaria and under the foundation’s management, a cooked food distribution program was carried out through the emergency initiative “Emergency Distribution for the People of Gaza.”
Continuing this heartfelt mission, ASH Foundation also distributed Emergency Food Packs among approximately 150 families of war-injured and martyred individuals in Gaza, reminding them that even in the darkest hours, they are not forgotten.
Because humanity shines brightest when it stands beside those who suffer.
