On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, an Iftar food distribution program was successfully implemented on February 25 (Wednesday) under the initiative of the Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation (ASH Foundation). Through this humanitarian effort, essential Iftar items were distributed among 125 khatibs, imams, muezzins, orphans, and persons with disabilities.
Each beneficiary received 28 kilograms of Iftar supplies. The distributed packages included rice, chickpeas, flattened rice, cooking oil, and other essential food items required for Iftar. This initiative was undertaken to ensure that the recipients could observe Iftar and Suhoor comfortably during Ramadan.
The program was held at the premises of Al Humaira Women’s Madrasa Complex. The event was attended by the Foundation’s President, Engineer Muhammad Nasir Uddin. Other members of the Foundation were also present and worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth implementation of the program, personally handing over the Iftar packages to the beneficiaries.
Financial support for this humanitarian initiative was provided by the UK-based organizations “UMR” and “Send a Little Hope.” With their assistance, the program was carried out more extensively and effectively.
The Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation expressed its commitment to continuing such welfare activities in the future, standing beside underprivileged members of society.
