Alhaj Shamshul Hoque Foundation Joins the Call for Justice
In a powerful show of solidarity, the Alhaj Shamshul Hoque Foundation organized a peaceful protest in support of the people of Gaza, raising their voices against the ongoing humanitarian crisis and the continuous violations of human rights in the region.
The protest, attended by community members, students, and activists, reflected the Foundation’s deep-rooted commitment to justice, compassion, and humanity. Participants held banners demanding an immediate ceasefire, accountability for war crimes, and unrestricted humanitarian access to those suffering in Gaza.
"We cannot remain silent while innocent lives, especially children, are lost every day. Our faith, our humanity, and our conscience demand that we speak out," said a representative of the Foundation during the event. “This is not about politics—this is about people. This is about families, schools, hospitals, and futures being destroyed in front of our eyes.”
Guided by Islamic principles of justice and mercy, the Alhaj Shamshul Hoque Foundation emphasized that standing up for the oppressed is not just a moral responsibility—it is a spiritual duty. The protest opened with a special du'a (prayer) for the martyrs and for peace in Palestine, and closed with a call to continue advocacy through education, charity, and public engagement.
The Alhaj Shamshul Hoque Foundation urges everyone—regardless of faith or background—to remain engaged, informed, and active. Silence is complicity. Together, we must demand peace, justice, and freedom for Gaza.
