Solidarity in war-torn Gaza

Where war has brought nothing but destruction, a single meal can become the hope to live another day.
In a land where there is no food in the markets, even a simple eggplant curry becomes a lifeline. What may seem insignificant to us is a priceless blessing for the people of Gaza right now.
Khan Younis is a region devastated by war. Streets are buried under rubble, skies roar with drones, and the air echoes with the silent cries of hunger. Amidst this heart-wrenching reality, a light of hope emerged: the Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation (ASH Foundation).
Funded by Professor Dr. Abu Bakar Muhammad Zakaria, the foundation prepared and distributed 10 large pots of eggplant curry.
Surprised? Yes, just eggplant curry. But in Gaza today, that is a rare luxury!
With this humble meal, around 2,000 hungry people were served.
Some had tears in their eyes, and some wore a smile of gratitude.
For many, it was the first full plate of food in days.
And witnessing this moment made us believe:
If such a small effort can save a life, that’s the greatest success we can ever achieve.
The cries from Gaza never stop —
"Just a little food, a piece of bread, a sip of water..."
These pleas don’t break us.
They inspire us to move forward, to do more.
Our local representatives in Gaza have already received instructions to implement the next phase of emergency aid as soon as possible.
As long as supplies are available, no matter how expensive, ASH Foundation will keep trying, In Shaa Allah.
Since October 2023, the Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation has become the first Bangladeshi organization to operate on the ground in Gaza. From Khan Younis to Al-Mawasi refugee camps, the love of the people of Bangladesh has fueled these humanitarian programs:

✅ Emergency water supply
✅ Daily food distribution
✅ Tent and toilet construction
✅ Mosque building
✅ Solar power installation
✅ Qurbani meat distribution
✅ Winter clothing supply
