Morocco Earthquake Relief

A year ago, Morocco was shaken by a devastating earthquake.

Today, as winter approaches, the memory of that tragedy returns with greater urgency. Within just one month, these mountains will be covered in snow and ice. For the earthquake-affected families left homeless, their biggest worry was how they would survive the bitter cold.

Alhamdulillah, by the mercy of Allah, ASH Foundation USA launched a “Delivering Warmth” program alongside tent distribution for the earthquake victims.

On the very first day, every registered family in the mountain village of Shishawar Agdal, Marrakesh, received one high-quality blanket each.

When these families, thousands of miles away, wrap themselves in this gift of love and feel a little warmth, the unknown donors across the world will, InshaAllah, be covered by Allah’s boundless mercy.

In this initial distribution of 100 blankets, there was a shortage for 33 newly registered villagers. But we promised no one would be left behind. Tomorrow, blankets will be purchased and delivered for all of them, InshaAllah.

May this collective effort of serving humanity reach the farthest corners of the earth—that is our promise.
