Let the sacrifice be shared! Thousands of faces in different remote areas of the country wait for a piece of meat. Eid al-Adha is their only light of hope, the rest of the year is just an endless wait. Taking this reality to heart, Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation organizes the ‘Happiness of Sacrifice in Everyone’s Home’ program every year. On behalf of those who cannot perform the sacrifice themselves, or want to perform another sacrifice for the distressed people of the country—we fulfill the great responsibility of sacrifice, representing them according to the rules of Sharia. In the remote and poor areas of the country, including North Bengal, we perform the sacrifice and deliver that sacred meat to the hands of those who do not cook even on Eid, whose children do not know what the taste of sacrificial meat is. A sacrifice may be a simple act of worship to you. But bringing a smile to the face of a needy child, bringing tears of gratitude to the eyes of a widow—this is a different kind of reward. You will be informed via SMS, In-Sha-Allah, where and when your animal will be sacrificed. May your sacrifice this Eid be the reason for thousands of smiles.
