Darul Falah Madrasa in Nepal

Darul Falah Madrasa in Nepal

Date: June 22, 2025

This is the village of Bhokraha, Ward No. 6, in Sunsari District, Nepal—where Muslims make up only 5% of the population—and there stands a small yet profoundly impactful institution: Darul Falah Madrasa.

More than just a madrasa, it is a home, a school, and a sanctuary for nearly 250 children, many of whom are orphans or come from extremely underprivileged backgrounds. Here, they are not only provided with food, shelter, and care—they are nurtured with the light of the Qur’an and the values of Islam. In a land where the sound of Adhan is rare, the madrasa and its surrounding Muslim community dream of something beautiful:
A purpose-built masjid—a spiritual and educational center that will serve as the heartbeat of faith, knowledge, and da'wah.

This mosque is not just a building. It is a symbol of hope, a space for unity, and a step toward peaceful coexistence. It is envisioned to:

  • Provide a proper place for daily prayers and Jumu’ah gatherings

  • Serve as a hub for Islamic learning for both children and adults

  • Act as a center for da'wah, where non-Muslim neighbors can learn about Islam through kindness, dialogue, and open doors

  • Be a source of community support and outreach in times of need

Despite being a small minority, the Muslims of Bhokraha are committed to being ambassadors of Islam through their conduct, service, and sincerity. The madrasa actively promotes peaceful coexistence and aims to spread the true message of Islam—one of peace, mercy, and justice—to their non-Muslim brothers and sisters.

By establishing a masjid, they hope to build bridges, not walls.
They wish to show, not just tell, what Islam truly stands for.
And they pray that their efforts become a source of guidance and blessing for the entire region.

As believers, we are taught that charity does not decrease wealth and that those who help build a mosque will have a house built for them in Jannah.

Your support—whether through donations, du'a, or spreading the word—can:

  • Help turn this visionary mosque into a reality

  • Provide ongoing education and care for the madrasa’s 250 students

  • Empower a minority Muslim community to thrive spiritually and socially

  • Strengthen the bonds of ummah and unity across borders

“The most beloved places to Allah are the mosques.”Sahih MuslimLet us not overlook the corners of the Ummah that the world often forgets. Let us rise together—with faith, with purpose, and with compassion.

May Allah accept their efforts, and may we all be honored with the opportunity to support them.  Amen.Would you like this adapted for a fundraising flyer, a website donation page, or social media captions? Just let me know the format!
