Humanitarian Initiative in Ramadan: Special Food Packages in Gaza

The holy month of Ramadan is a unique chapter of self-restraint, generosity, and compassion. At a time when people around the world are immersed in worship and empathy, the people of war-torn Gaza continue to struggle daily for survival. In such a reality, Alhaj Shamsul Haque Foundation has extended a helping hand of humanity.

As Ramadan approaches its final days, the organization is conducting a special food package distribution program among the helpless and oppressed people in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, Gaza. This noble initiative is being implemented with the financial support of Shaykh Abu Bakar Muhammad Zakaria, bringing a sense of relief to countless families.

Each food package is valued at 50 US dollars, which serves as a vital support for a family amid the ongoing crisis. Every package includes essential daily food items such as sugar, rice, oil, dates, cheese, pasta, tea, tahini, split red lentils, fava beans, tuna, chickpeas, and green beans. These packages are not only meeting basic food needs but are also bringing comfort to families during iftar and suhoor in Ramadan.

This initiative reminds us that humanity is still alive. From one corner of the world to another, it is our compassion and sense of responsibility toward each other that unite us.

During this special time of Ramadan, when the rewards of charity are multiplied, such initiatives not only fulfill people’s needs but also sow the seeds of love and unity in our hearts.
