Eid Smiles Even in the Remote Areas
Eid Smiles Even in the Remote Areas
Date: June 22, 2025
On the blessed days of Eid al-Adha, the Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation (ASH Foundation) brought the joy of Qurbani to the most remote and underserved regions of Kurigram, Bangladesh.
On Day 1, our team reached Kodalkati Union in the island-like region of Char Rajibpur Upazila. On Day 2, we visited several remote areas of Char Jatrapur Union, located in Kurigram Sadar Upazila—places where many families have not tasted Qurbani meat for years. In these marginalized communities, we were blessed to carry the greatest Eid gift—the gift of inclusion, love, and dignity.
Seven cows were sacrificed and the meat distributed among the neediest families—simply to bring a smile to their faces, and to make them feel they are not forgotten by the ummah. This meaningful initiative was made possible through the heartfelt support of many generous souls—
Special thanks to Send A Little Hope Org., whose contribution helped make these precious, heart-touching moments a reality.
To all who supported this mission: thank you. Your kindness reached places where even hope struggles to travel. Together, we are creating moments of love, unity, and spiritual upliftment—one smile at a time. May Allah accept this effort and make it a means of barakah for everyone involved. Amen.
