Self-Reliance Project
Self-Reliance Project
Date: July 8, 2025
True help is not about creating dependence; it’s about building strength. With that philosophy, the Alhaj Shamsul Hoque Foundation launched the “Self-Reliance Project.” Our goal is not just to give aid but to empower people to stand on their own feet with dignity and purpose.
This project is designed to economically uplift underprivileged families, single mothers, unemployed youth, and persons with disabilities. Here's how we work:
🔹 Interest-free or low-installment micro-capital for small entrepreneurs
🔹 Training in tailoring, handicrafts, farming, poultry rearing, etc.
🔹 Provision of essential tools and equipment
🔹 Ongoing mentorship and monitoring
Thanks to this initiative, many women now earn from home through tailoring, some run poultry farms, while others have opened small businesses. They are no longer beggars or burdens—they are now the pillars of their families.
To build a society where everyone can live with dignity, powered by their skills. The "Self-Reliance Project" is more than just a program—it's a humanitarian movement.
